How do I apply for a Singapore visa?
- 1
Choose an authorised visa agent
The High Commission accepts applications only through its 21 authorised agents in Dhaka, listed on its website. The agent submits online and arranges the local contact letter.
- 2
Fill in Form 14A and gather documents
Sign Form 14A, get the photo taken to specification, and collect your passport copy, bank statement and job or business papers.
- 3
Submit and pay
Hand the file to the agent and pay the S$30 visa fee in taka with the agent's service charge. Neither is refunded if the visa is refused.
- 4
Wait at least 5 working days
Counting from the day after submission. Incomplete files and busy periods take longer.
- 5
Print the e-Visa and submit the SG Arrival Card
Print the approved e-Visa: airlines and departure immigration may ask for it. Within 3 days before arrival, submit the free SG Arrival Card through the ICA website or the MyICA app.
Where do I apply in Dhaka?
Singapore High Commission, Dhaka
Ventura Avenue, 5th floor, 8/B Gulshan Avenue, Gulshan, Dhaka 1212
The High Commission doesn't take visa applications at its counter: apply through one of the authorised agents listed on its visa page, in Gulshan, Banani, Motijheel, Dhanmondi, Mirpur and Uttara.
Why are Singapore visa applications refused?
Refusals come without a reason
What helps: Neither ICA nor the High Commission explains a refusal. You can appeal through your agent, or to ICA within 1 month; appeals usually take about 14 working days.
Reapplying with the same documents
What helps: ICA says the outcome won't change without new information or documents. Strengthen the file first.
Income or travel details that don't match
What helps: Make the income on Form 14A match your bank statement and job papers, and give a real hotel address.
Passport valid for less than 6 months
What helps: Renew first: since 30 January 2026 airlines can be told not to board travellers who don't meet entry rules.
What else do people ask about the Singapore visa?
No. From Bangladesh, applications must go online through one of the High Commission's 21 authorised visa agents in Dhaka, listed on its website. The agent submits the file, arranges the local contact letter (Form V39A) and charges a service fee on top of the S$30 visa fee.
Yes. We prepare and check your file ourselves: Form 14A, photo, bank statement and job or business papers, making sure the income and travel details match. The application is then submitted through one of the High Commission's authorised visa agents in Dhaka, as the rules require, and we follow it up with the agent until the e-Visa arrives.
No. Ordinary Bangladeshi passports need a visa even to leave Changi Airport on a transit, and Singapore's visa-free transit facility doesn't include Bangladesh. If you stay airside for a connecting flight, you don't pass immigration.
At least 5 working days, counted from the day after the agent submits it, according to the High Commission. Incomplete files and busy periods take longer, so apply two to three weeks before you travel. ICA asks you to apply within 30 days before arrival.
The visa doesn't set it. The ICA officer at the checkpoint decides the length of stay and records it on your e-Pass, which is emailed after arrival. If you need longer, apply online for an extension when 14 days or less remain; ICA decides that too.
No. ICA and the High Commission don't give reasons. You can appeal through your agent, or to ICA within one month of the refusal, and an appeal usually takes about 14 working days. Reapplying only helps with new information: stronger financial proof, matching income details or a clearer purpose.
A free online arrival form every visitor submits within 3 days before arriving, including the day of arrival, through the ICA website or the MyICA app. It isn't a visa. Without it you can be refused entry, and airlines may check it at check-in in Dhaka.
No. Only the embassy, high commission or immigration authority decides whether a visa is granted, so no agency can honestly guarantee it. What we do is make sure your application is complete, consistent and matches the official checklist, which removes the most common reasons for refusal. Be wary of anyone who promises a guaranteed visa for an extra payment.
Yes. Send us the refusal letter and the documents you submitted. We look at the reason the embassy gave, such as weak financial proof, an unclear travel purpose or missing papers, and fix that before you apply again. Reapplying with the same file usually brings the same result. Tell the embassy about the earlier refusal whenever the form asks: hiding it can lead to a longer ban.
