Travelling to Malaysia from Bangladesh
Malaysia is an easy, comfortable trip from Bangladesh: Kuala Lumpur is about four hours from Dhaka, the country is Muslim-majority with halal food everywhere, and many people speak English and some Bangla.
A first visit usually means three or four days in Kuala Lumpur, with the Petronas Twin Towers, Putrajaya's Pink Mosque, Batu Caves and a day in the cool air of Genting Highlands by cable car. Families and couples with more time add the islands of Langkawi or Penang, best from November to April.
You need a Malaysia eVISA before you fly, about BDT 3,100 in fees and 2–7 working days. Immigration at the airport also checks your return ticket, hotel booking and money, so keep those papers ready.

What do travellers ask about Malaysia?
Yes. Halal food is everywhere, the city is clean and easy to get around, and Genting Highlands has indoor theme parks and cool weather that children and older parents enjoy. A 4-day Kuala Lumpur and Genting trip needs little walking if you use a private car for the tours.
Four days covers Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Batu Caves and a day at Genting Highlands. Add two or three days for Langkawi or Penang, which are a short domestic flight away. With a single-entry eVISA you can stay up to 30 days.
Your printed eVISA, a confirmed return ticket, a paid hotel booking for every night, a recent bank statement and enough cash or an international card for the trip. Officers have refused entry to Bangladeshi travellers without these, even with a valid eVISA.
